    • Give/trade with another aquarist, pond owner, or water gardener
    • Donate to a local aquarium society, school, or aquatic business
    • Seal aquatic plants in plastic bags and dispose in trash
    • Contact veterinarian or pet retailer for guidance about humane disposal of animals
